We here at ShirtRiot hope to accomplish several things. The main thing on the heart of ShirtRiot is to find a way to help others by doing simple business. What we have decided to do is partner with several foundations and charities and let YOU, the buyer, choose where $1 from every shirt purchased goes. We want to help you support a cause that you believe in. Just imagine, a business that gauges their success by the dollar amount that goes to help others in need. ShirtRiot sells 1000 t-shirts? Then you just gave $1000 to charity! Not only that, but ShirtRiot will continually aim to provide a quality product at a low price.

We have seen a need in business in general to listen to the customer! It is not the mainstream way of thinking….yet. Many businesses just make what they feel is the product that should be made. We feel that it is time to listen to the customers. We feel that it is time that others share this view.

We hope that bands, events, charities, organizations, etc. will use ShirtRiot to host their design contest. Why not put a design on a t-shirt that is ALREADY market proven? Exactly! There is no excuse for not doing it. Let your customers choose what shirt you sell them! Not only that, but why not let your customer design the artwork? Isn’t the buyer the person who knows what they want?

WHY DESIGN? Through contests at ShirtRiot.com, we hope to enable artists to express themselves through design. We will host several different “theme” contests where artists can have a parameter to come up with a t-shirt design. The top voted designs would be printed, and YOU the DESIGNER will receive $1 from every shirt sold online with your design!  If a shirt is purchased by an outside retailer, is being sold on tour by a band, or is bought in bulk by an event or festival, then you will earn royalties!!!
